Heavy metal and
hard rock fans are a
fickle and discerning bunch. Bands that attempt to make a career for
themselves by trend jumping with half-hearted devotion do not last.
STRAIGHT LINE STITCH has been steadily ascending the ranks of metal

STITCH captivates and levels all in attendance. Vocalist ALEXIS BROWN
is a blazing persona that demands the attention of a room. Throughout
their songs, ALEXIS navigates a seamless shift from harrowing screams
to heartfelt melody that adds depth and sincerity to their music. Her
clean vocal parts never take a back seat to the punishing screams, as
they are sung with an assertive power and spirit that soar mightily.

GONZO #3 - The Third Podcast by Jeremy Gilley
It was a strange experiment having
some punk kid interview bands and contribute to ROCKWIRED.COM and our
monthly magazine. It was an experiment that has yielded some rather
interesting results such as our ROCKWIRED CONCERT WATCH segment and of
course this curious podcast series. Before JEREMY joined the
rank and file here at ROCKWIRED I hadn't had much experience
communicating with millenials other than some of the bands that we've
featured but have to say that I find myself constantly
entertained and absolutely fucking terrified all at once. I hope this
latest edition of GONZO gives you that same sense of entertainment and
terror. Not Like I'm banking on it or anything.

Rockwired Radio Profiles #568 - Station
Ever since ROCKWIRED became
acquainted with the New York City-based glam metal band STATION at the
dawn of 2014 with the release of their EP WIRED We've been anxiously
awaiting the arrival of the album that guitarist CHRIS LANE had assured
us was on it's way. Why were we so excited? The truth is, STATION
delivers the kind of rock n roll that packs a punch rather than
something to whine about. In a time when indie rock has embraced
a sickeningly down-home approach as evidenced by shit like
MUMFORD AND SONS and other bands of that foot-stomping,
accordion-playing sort STATION is here to crank up up the volume with
anthem rockers that bring us back to a day when it was boy meets girl
and then loses her and can't live without her and then realizing that
he was better off without the bitch. The metal guitar theatrics of
guitarist CHRIS LANE and the vocal pyrotechnics of front man PATRICK
KEARNEY will definitely jog a memory or two of those halcyon days of
MTV's HEADBANGER'S BALL which is weird considering the fact that the
members of STATION were barely alive back in those days. Maybe there is
some hope for rock n roll after all.
